Aloe Femica is an Aloe Vera based herbal safe dietary supplement for women having leucorrhoea or abnormal vaginal discharge. Leucorrhea is catarrhal discharge from mucus membrane of the female genital tract. It is commonly known as white discharge. It may be due to any specific pathology or due to poor health and unhygienic condition of the female genital organ. In Ayurveda, this condition is known as Swetpradar believed to be caused by the aggravation or vitiation of the Kapha dosha. In fact, vaginal discharge is normal and varies during menstrual cycle. Before ovulation there is a lot of mucous produced which is up to 30 times more than after ovulation. It is also more watery and elastic during that phase of the cycle. However, the things to be worried about includes if the discharge has a yellow or green color, is clumpy like cottage cheese or has a bad odor. There are different types of vaginal discharges. White discharge can be thick and is common at the beginning and the end of the cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, it can indicate a yeast infection. Clear and stretchy discharge means it is ‘fertile’ mucous, which indicates ovulation. Clear and watery discharge occurs at different times of the cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising. Yellow or green discharge may indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor. Brown discharge may happen right after periods and is just ‘cleaning out’ the vagina. Old blood looks brown.
