Product Description

Cellulite Treatments Cellulite is the unsightly, cottage cheese-like dimpling of skin on thighs, legs and buttocks which occurs in up to 90% women after the attainment of puberty. Cellulite is often likened to 'orange peel' after the dimpled appearance of the surface of an orange. The appearance of cellulite is unrelated to fitness or body weight and commonly occurs even in fit women. Female hormones contribute to the appearance of cellulite in women in the reproductive age group. Diet, water intake, exercise, lymphatic drainage and genetic factors also influence cellulite. Cellulite occurs due to the herniation of subcutaneous fat and the entrapment of this fat in small pockets in superficial layers close to the skin. Adhesions get formed by the bending of collagen fibers around these pockets have bent due to the expansion of these fat cells.
